Hi! My name is Janelle Morgan and I'm the founder of Bear Bear Dancewear. I am originally from Vancouver Island, I'm a former hair designer (still love it), a home renovation addict (can't help it), and a mom of two just trying to do my best!

When my daughter started dancing, there didn't seem to be a lot of options for children's dance attire - so I started making it myself... 
I was inspired to create a brand that offered a wholesome approach to dance attire, and that spotlit the creativity of the kids who wear it. 

Today, my family and I are so proud to make ecologically and ethically conscious activewear that combines the goodness of these key factors: OEKO-TEX Standard 100, adorable designs, and most importantly, GIRL POWER!

Every detail from the artwork of our custom prints, to the photography, the web design, and even the mentoring comes from brilliant women within our community. Why OEKO-TEX standard 100?
OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 is a label for textiles tested for harmful substances. It sets the benchmark for textile safety. Clothing with this certification has passed safety tests for the presence of harmful substances, so you can be sure the fabrics on your skin are safe from harsh chemicals. In short, we only use the best.
